Hey! What’s the rumpus?

Just sitting here listening to the new song’s instrumental part, fresh off the boat (actually, there’s no boat involved… so far). Thought I’d post a little update since it’s been a while. I’ve done quite a lot lately… recorded guitars and bass for the new song and doing the vocals tomorrow. Might not sound like a lot but it definitely takes a lot of work. I’m pleased with how it sounds so far, hopefully I won’t screw it up. If all goes well you’ll hear the new tune in a fortnight.

Didn’t post as much as I used to since I got this here Twitter account. It’s really addictive to be honest, kinda like chocolate bunnies on Easter morning. But it’s nice to be able to write more than 140 characters every now and then. Just finished reading Brief Interviews With Hideous Men today. Great book, a must read. Particularly the short story called Octet. In a lot of ways it reminds me of working on the EP.

Started working on some drums for a new song and I’m recording the rest of the stuff next week, if all goes well it should be on myspace players all over the world pretty soon. That’s about it…

To be honest I’m all blogged out at the moment. I’m basically just sitting around and recovering after a very long, tiring weekend.
